Produce exclusive animations, taking care with the amount of details and colors. Static GIF X Animated GIF As already said, the GIF is a very versatile image format that, when it was created, presented innovative possibilities for the time, becoming very popular throughout the internet. With the evolution of data transmission media, the Internet became faster and images in static GIF format became very outdated. We want sharp and detailed images, but the Special Data limitation of the colors of GIFs made images in this format fall into disuse. Even though they enable transparency alpha channel , this transparency has many limitations and presents aliasing when the pixels are very exposed and it seems that there is an error in the image . Therefore, when we need static images with transparency, we use PNG. Would this be the death of the GIF? Definitely not. The versatility of the GIF means that they continue to be strong on the internet, because they make animations possible. The animations present approximately frames per second i.e. images displayed each second . That speed means that the limitations of GIFs are not so noticeable or simply not so bothersome . Also, even though the quality is not incredible and the movements are not so fluid, the loading is very fast. In other words, one thing compensates for another, and the animated GIF continued to be popular.
